Teen Patti Gold
Half the arguments at any Jaipur card table start with someone quoting rules from a different app, so let me settle the first one myself: Teen Patti Gold is Moonfrog Labs' chips game. The build I am running — v31.82, roughly 90MB, released on 9 July 2026 — deals in chips, not rupees. Money can go in over UPI; it does not come back out. Twelve years into playing this game, I keep it installed anyway, because no app I have tested enforces variant rules this strictly.

Muflis, AK47, Royal: what actually changes at each Gold table
The lobby runs Classic, Joker, Hukam, Muflis, Royal, AK47 and Potblind, with Poker, Rummy and Andar Bahar parked in separate rooms. The twists that matter:

Stake structure is the classic one, enforced without mercy: a blind player bets the current stake, a seen player pays double, and sideshows happen only between two seen players. Gold simply greys out illegal bets — which is why it has become the referee when my cousins and I disagree.
The 58,000-chip hand where I misread Muflis
Friday, 10 July 2026, my cousin Nikhil's terrace in Raja Park, mid power cut, both phones on my hotspot. Muflis table, 1,024-chip boot, six seats. I was dealt A♦-2♠-3♠ and my brain shouted lowest cards in the deck. Two players folded blind. I saw my cards and chaal-ed 4,096; Nikhil, also seen, doubled. I refused his sideshow — a second mistake, because comparing cards at 8,192 would have cost a fraction of what followed. Three raising rounds later the pot stood at 58,000. Show: his 7♣-5♦-2♥, a nothing hand. But in Muflis a nothing hand is royalty, and my A-2-3 was a sequence — near the top of the normal ladder, so near the bottom of this one. I wanted to throw the phone off the terrace; ten minutes later I was laughing, because an app had out-argued me on my pet subject.

Gold beside Master and Lotus

The rupee illusion: money goes in, it does not come out
Here is the annoyance nobody prints on the banners: every price tag in Gold looks like rupees, and the flow is one-way. I bought the ₹89 starter chip pack over Google Pay at 9:41 PM on 12 July 2026 — chips credited in under ten seconds, and there is no screen anywhere to send value back. Installing was the easy part: the 90MB APK came down from the button above, Android asked once about unknown sources, I signed in with my mobile number, and a welcome stack of about 1,50,000 chips landed. At 1,024-chip boots that stack lasted two full evenings, so honestly the ₹89 was impatience, not necessity. Terms and chip prices can change, so check the purchase screen on your own build.
